Please join us for the next TAXIS open reading group meeting. This month we are reading around the theme of Non-anthropocentric histories of sound and technology.

The assigned readings are:

• Mundy, Rachel. Animal Musicalities: Birds, Beasts, and Evolutionary Listening. Music/Culture. Middletown, Connecticut: Wesleyan University Press, 2018.

We’ll be meeting on Zoom on Friday March 12, at 1 p.m. (Eastern) / 6 p.m. (London). Please note the change from our “usual” time.

If you would like to be included in the next meeting or upcoming meetings, please get in touch with either myself (belle2@tcd.ie) or Ezra (ezra@redthunderaudio.com) to be kept in the loop. We will also post the Zoom link for this meeting by email, closer to the time.

Now is probably as good at time as any to remind anyone following along that the group’s cumulative bibliography is available here (https://taxis.hcommons-staging.org/zotero-group-library/) and includes references to not only the assigned readings but also supplementary or related readings on the topic.
